The Nudawwer project, implemented by UNEP in collaboration with Nusaned as an implementing partner and funded by the SwitchMed program, has made significant progress in promoting a circular economy and sustainable consumption and production practices in the Mar Mikhael - Gemmayze area of Beirut. Under the integrated solid waste management services output, the project collected, sorted, and recycled/composted solid waste from 10 restaurants, 625 households, and two gyms. The project also distributed 35 bins. These achievements demonstrate the project's commitment to reducing food and packaging waste and promoting sustainable practices.
